What didn't help was that half of the trailer was just clips from the original trilogy. You don't need to remind us; we watched them so many times they are burned into our brains. Just because someone has red eyes and wields a folding sword that flips into a double bladed lightsaber doesn't mean they went down the dark side. Why must all the bad guys carry the badass lightsabers? Why can't the hero carry one too instead of an old clunky one that a tiny alien handed you? I know they can't release too much before the film's release, but this doesn't tell Jack squat about why they are rehashing Return of the Jedi for their "final" installment. It's not final, quit lying, Disney. You just dropped a trailer for The Mandalorian , and announced the return of Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan. The Skywalker Saga may be over, but you will keep Star Wars in theaters and on streaming services until the sun burns out of the sky. In theaters: December 2
