"Candyman" (2020)

Wow, way to miss the opportunity of playing "The Candy Man" by Sammy Davis Jr. (My apologies to Sammy Davis Jr. for bastardizing his song with this movie).
So, this is a manifestation of The Ring mixed with selling your soul to the devil. Maybe he should team up with Ghost Rider. How's that for a movie mashup cinematic universe?
I haven't seen Us to confirm my theory yet, but I'm starting to notice that all of Jordan Peele's main protagonists have been photographers. Chris from Get Out was, this guy is, do you think Jordan wanted to be a photographer when he was younger? Explains why he "quit" acting.
And why a crowbar? I get that knives are outdated (thank you, Chucky, Jason, Michael), Leatherface ruined chainsaws, and claws are too primitive. But a crowbar.
