"Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" D23 Trailer

What didn't help was that half of the trailer was just clips from the original trilogy. You don't need to remind us; we watched them so many times they are burned into our brains. Just because someone has red eyes and wields a folding sword that flips into a double bladed lightsaber doesn't mean they went down the dark side. Why must all the bad guys carry the badass lightsabers? Why can't the hero carry one too instead of an old clunky one that a tiny alien handed you? I know they can't release too much before the film's release, but this doesn't tell Jack squat about why they are rehashing Return of the Jedi for their "final" installment. It's not final, quit lying, Disney. You just dropped a trailer for The Mandalorian , and announced the return of Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan. The Skywalker Saga may be over, but you will keep Star Wars in theaters and on streaming services until the sun burns out of the sky. In theaters: December 2...

"The Lion King" (2019)

Yeah, I'm kind of whatever about this. What's the point of going to see it if it's a shot for shot remake? Unless they are adding songs from the Broadway musical, then it may be worth going. It did feel kind of off that the animals barely have any facial expressions, but it's nothing to get mad over. I guess it's a side effect to making a realistic movie with "live" animals. Other than that, it looks good, but then they had to ruin the majesty of it by having Timon and Pumbaa singing through the jungle. They totally could have done without that. "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker"

Oh, Lord, they had to drag Lando Calrissian back into this, didn't they? Oh, Lord, they had to drag the Death Star back into this, didn't they? Oh, Lord, they had to drag the Emperor back into this, didn't they? WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! "The Rise of Skywalker"? I thought this was supposed to end the Skywalker Saga. Does it mean Kylo f*cking Ren is going to be good again, hence the rise of Skywalker? Is he going to take up the name Skywalker and make it evil, hence the rise, and they have to be destroyed? We're never really gone...F*CK YOU! You were never really there. This was the easiest series Mark Hamill ever starred in with the exception of the Batman animated series. You say every saga comes to an end, well explain this. If the following link shows everything that will be made in the Star Wars universe, then the saga never really ends. This may be the end of the Skywalkers, but Star Wars will never fade away from the big screen. In theaters: December...

"Toy Story 4"

What the f*ck? I've never been partial to the Toy Story  franchise. I mean I saw them all eventually, but I didn't care for them. This just doesn't make any sense. I thought numero tres was the end. Answers, please. The Key & Peele  thing here is the literal representation of me and Toy Story . Luckily this sheds light on Bo's whereabouts in Toy Story 3 ...sort of. Does that mean Andy lost Bo? Now, there's a possibility that she's the villain, not Yo Gabby Gabby and her creepy doll henchmen. Please let this be the end. In theaters: June 21, 2019 Click image to view URL.

"Aladdin" (2019)

Like Dumbo , this story is rather dear to me. You will never replace the late great Robin Williams. I have nothing against Will Smith, but it comes down to it, there is no competition, dawg! In theaters: May 24, 2019 Click image to view URL.

"Pokémon: Detective Pikachu"

Yeah, no. In theaters: May 10, 2019 Click image to view URL.

"SHAZAM!"

I don't know. This looks stupid. Fun, but stupid. Why does this superhero have the same name as an app that tells me what song is playing right now? And how does the kid un-Shazam? Say "Mazahs"? Is this DC's version of recruiting a teenager into the Justice League? After seeing this and the Captain Marvel trailer, I don't think I should be going into the subway. I'll either become a stupid superhero or fight old grannies. I probably won't see it right away. I'm behind on my DCEU movies. Well, I haven't started. I've been so busy with the MCU. Eww, I know. WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! This is Captain Marvel as well?  Why is DC stealing names from Marvel? Is how they are going to cross over? Is that possible? Batman lives in Gotham City, and Superman lives in Metropolis; two completely made up cities. The Avengers live in upstate New York, and Ant-Man lives in San Francisco, both very real places.
